Our Vision is that menopause information, educational resources, policies, support services and spaces, are equitable and considerate of ALL experiences of menopause.
Menopause Inclusion Collective Chapter One!
(2020–2025)
The Collective challenged assumptions and seeded leadership in menopause inclusion.
The Menopause Inclusion Collective was created to challenge the assumption that menopause is a single, uniform experience. It showed how lived experience varies across race, class, identity, sexual orientation, disability, neurodivergence, and circumstance, and why inclusion must sit at the centre of every conversation about menopause.
From its UK base, the Collective built global connections, hosted events, and convened diverse voices to reshape how menopause was understood. Its work included important firsts such as the Black Menopause public seminar, early peer‑support sessions on neurodivergence, and the Global Dignified Menopause Summit in 2021.
The Collective catalysed a conversation, seeded leadership, and broadened the field’s understanding of menopause and equity.
The Menopause Inclusion Collective has now completed its Chapter One active phase. We’re taking a pause - a moment to reflect, listen, and consider what form future work might take. Its legacy continues in the conversations it sparked, the friendships it nurtured, and the website pages now preserved in the Web Archive (Wayback Machine) and the British Library Archive will remain as a forever insight into our work.
You can still contact us about Rainbow Menopause Film. That work remains open, relational, and ongoing, and we welcome conversations, questions, and connections.
thanks for being here,
